Everyone knows her, but no one can name her
Aileen Wuornos as a child.

Thirty years ago, prostitute Aileen Wuornos terrified the entire United States when she murdered seven men in a single year.
In all of these murders, the killer used the same method: having sex with her “clients” and then taking advantage of their inattention to shoot them dead. Psychologists believe that years of abuse and living around criminals are among the reasons that shaped this cold-blooded woman.
Life is gloomy

Aileen Wuornos was born on February 29, 1956, in Rochester, Michigan (USA). From birth, Aileen Wuornos's life was very difficult. Her mother, Diane Wuornos, married Leo Dale Pittman at the age of 15 and had two children. Two years after their marriage, the couple divorced a few months before Diane gave birth to Aileen Wuornos. Diane was very afraid of her husband because he often beat her.
In 1960, Wuornos and his brother Keith were abandoned by their mother when they were four years old, claiming they were unable to care for the children. From then on, the two brothers returned to live with their father, who was violent and hostile toward even his own children.
But just a few years after their father died, the two Wuornos brothers moved back to live with their maternal grandparents. They were adopted by their maternal grandparents and both changed their last name to Wuornos.
They thought that escaping their violent father would change their lives, but it was no less dark when their grandfather was also a heavy alcoholic and equally violent. The two children were often beaten.
Although she was only a teenager, Aileen Wuornos knew how to use her "inherent capital" to exchange for trivial material things like cigarettes and candy at school. Her grandparents raised Wuornos and Keith but did not tell them anything about their parents. However, at the age of 12, Aileen accidentally discovered that her adoptive parents were her maternal grandparents and the truth about her two birth parents, so she began to rebel.
In 1971, the teenage girl became more withdrawn and hostile towards everyone around her when she suddenly became pregnant at the age of 14. The author of the fetus in her womb was said to be a friend of her grandfather after an abuse.
Aileen Wuornos later gave birth to a baby boy at a home for single mothers, but because she could not afford to raise the baby, she gave the baby to someone else. A few months later, her grandmother passed away, and her grandfather kicked her out of the house when Wuornos was only 15 years old. After being kicked out, Wuornos also tried to find a suitable job to earn money but was rejected.

The man-hating killer
Aileen Wuornos grew to hate and resent men after a lifetime of abuse and being surrounded by criminals.
The biggest event in her life was the death of her brother Keith from esophageal cancer in 1975. From then on, Wuornos lived recklessly, started using drugs and became a professional prostitute to earn money. From here, Aileen Wuornos gradually turned into an armed robber, rolling around bars and going in and out of jail like a daily meal until drifting to Florida.
In Florida, Aileen Wuornos met and married Lewis Fell. Although Lewis doted on her, the marriage quickly ended when she revealed her violent and thieving nature. Aileen was once again thrown back onto the streets, officially returning to a life of crime.
Just like that, Aileen Wuornos gradually destroyed herself with alcohol and stimulants. In 1986, she met Tyria Moore in a gay bar and they quickly became lovers. During the 4 years of living together, Aileen Wuornos continued to sell sex on the highway to support her lover but eventually the relationship ended.
Aileen Wuornos had fewer and fewer “customers” and was always in a state of hunger. And that was the beginning of this murderous days of this female killer.
